Housing

In keeping with the PHCNW mission of providing training, employment and services to individuals with disabilities, housing development began in 1999 with the acquisition of 245 HUD-subsidized apartment units in Portland, the Dalles and Albany. Beginning in 2001, a portfolio of non-subsidized affordable properties has been acquired which has grown to 221 apartment units located in Portland and Vancouver, Washington. In 2004, PHCNW opened a HUD-subsidized Portland property with 16 units specifically for people with disabilities.

  • HUD Section 8 are Project-Based subsidized units for households earning 50% or less of the Area Median Income. Each property has a waiting list.
